Step dancing studied at MPSD is distinctively Irish, following the set dances set out by An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha (the Irish Dancing Commission). Students will learn the intricate footwork of traditional set dances such as the Treble Reel, Treble Jig, Hormpipe, St. Patrick's Day, and The Blackbird. Soft and hard shoe dances are covered in the curriculum. What to wear?

At this age your child is new to learning how the body moves. In this program your child will receive a gentle introduction to the classroom environment while exploring music and movement.
